Two selection potentialities of the Rectangular marquee (shift + mouse) selection tool:
-selecting multiple sounds in the sound editor, enabling grouped movement while graphically arranging sounds.
-selecting faders for grouped movement in VCS.

(Key combinations for window selection (I'm always loosing the VCS)).

Just some (probably old) ideas.
David.

Thanks for the suggestions.

For the first one, you might want to try shift+drag on a single Sound in the Sound editor to reposition the Sound and all of its inputs as a single unit.

I use a common macro progam (Kequencer) on my Mac for this very purpose... <control> V = VCS ;
<control> D = DSP status ; etc.
