ReSequenceTest.ktl

Dear Kymaville

I have run into an wee problem.

I am using the AnalogSequencer in the form of the resequencer protoype on a timeline.
(attached)
I have added a couple of !items, yet not meddled with it too much.

The first time I load it, it plays. If it reaches the end of the timeline and is restarted, it does not play.
If I open the sound on the timeline and save it again, it plays, but the same thing will occur if it reaches the end.

Ok, I just tested it with the prototype directly into a fresh timeline, it does the same thing.

I must have missed something, please enlighten me.

Thanks

Charlie

I've just reproduced the same thing by dragging the original prototype into a timeline.

SSC, can you chime in on this please

Thanks for the bug report. It appears to be the case only when all the switches are on. (seems to be related to an optimization that Kyma is incorrectly doing when it thinks that nothing has changed since the last time you played it).

This will be fixed in the next update, but in the meantime here is a workaround: Since the pitch is ignored in this case, add a second pitch, different from the first one (e.g. 60 61). Pitch is ignored so it won't alter the actual sound, but then the AnalogSequencer will continue to sequence, even when you replay it.

Thanks!
