Hello

Following a few wishes in the wish and tweaks on the BCF instructions, I would like an additional page herer >>
http://www.symbolicsound.com/cgi-bin/bin/view/Learn/KymaTutorials

I don't quite understand how to go about it.

I would like to add the key elements from Pete's encapsulation pointers. I refer to it regularly.

You just hit 'Edit' at the top of the page.

On the page you mentioned, I added this bit of code:
* [[EncapsulationTips][Encapsulation Tips]]: Tips on encapsulation and creating your own class sounds in Kyma by User.CharlieNorton

and saved it. Now you'll see 'Encapsulation Tips?'
Click on the question mark and it will take you to the new page where you insert your notes.

I've already done all these steps on the page but you can delete and then see how it works for yourself.

And there we go.

Please report/edit issues at will.

Thanks again pete and keph

Hi Charlie/Ben

That makes a lot of sense. I've never got on that well with tweaky editing so I'n always glad when someone does transfers from the forum.

Hi Charlie
I was wondering if you still had copies of your original bit crusher, the modules in ???? mode and the final encapsulated module. If you could add these three as examples along with the text it would make it more understandable for other users me thinks.

also

You said at the end of the original post, that you added your newly created module to the prototypes. I don't know how to do this so maybe another simplified tutorial could be added to show how to do this?

what do you think?

Thanks

Pete Johnston

Pete,

I think Charlie is referring to opening his new sounds via the custom prototype open as option. This is detailed on page 302 of the Kyma Revealed manual.
